Continuing the industry-wide craze of luxurious special edition game packages, EA and Maxis have put together the Spore Galactic Edition. Priced at $79.99, the Galactic Edition will come with ‘The Art of Spore’ hardback mini-book, a fold-out poster, a 100-page Galactic Handbook, and two bonus DVDs, one with the ‘Making of Spore’ documentary and the other featuring the “How to Build a Better Being” National Geographic Channel show set to air Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 PM ET/PT. Overall, sounds like a nifty little bundle. Don’t necessarily care for the DVDs, but I’m a sucker for art books and that sort of thing, so I may be tempted to pick this up come September 7th.
