Sony has announced what easily looks like it’s going to be the most epic Spring Fever PlayStation Store event ever. (Hurray for hyperbole!)
From March 3rd through April 27th, double the span of any previous Spring Fever, a new indie game will get a weekly spotlight release for PS3, PS4, or Vita (or in some cases multiple platforms). The full lineup goes like this:
HELLDIVERS
(PS4, PS3, PS Vita) – March 3
•HELLDIVERS is a top-down squad shooter which features Cross Play, Cross Chat, Cross Buy and Cross Save capabilities on PS4, PS3 and PS Vita systems. Additionally, a series of weekly game and movie franchise sales will run throughout the Spring Fever showcase. March 3 through March 9 will feature sales on LEGO games and The Hobbit movies; March 10 through March 16 will be Saints Row games and X-Men movies; March 17 through March 23 will be Assassin’s Creed games and Transformers movies; March 24 through March 30 will be God of War games and Spider-Man movies; March 31 through April 6 will be Batman games and movies; April 7 through April 13 will be Dragon Age games and LEGO movie; April 14 through April 20 will be Grand Theft Auto games and Planet of the Apes movies; and April 21 through April 27 will be Call of Duty games and Taken movies.

Sony’s annual Spring Fever PlayStation Network promotion is officially underway, bringing PS3 and Vita gamers four hot indie games over the next four weeks in April.
Spring Fever opens with today’s release of Guacamelee!, the metroid-vania brawler inspired by Mexican folklore that we’ve been looking forward to for some time now. Dragon Fantasy Book I, Thomas Was Alone, and Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge will follow in that weekly order.
All four titles are Cross-Buy, and discounts of 20% are available across the board for PlayStation Plus members. Zombie Tycoon 2 in particular will be free of charge to all PS Plus subscribers as part of the Instant Game Collection.
