The Bozak Horde, the third and final DLC drop planned as part of the Season Pass for Dying Light, is scheduled to launch on May 26th. It will also be sold separately, for non-Season Passers, at a price of $9.99.

Designed with co-op gameplay in mind, this major addition to the world of Dying Light will offer a hefty challenge even for the most experienced teams of four. On top of that, “The Bozak Horde” throws a competitive element into the mix, making the game less predictable and more demanding than ever.

All those who defeat the horde will get their hands on the ultimate stealth weapon – a compound hunting bow – with additional objectives granting access to electric, incendiary, and exploding arrows.

MAIN FEATURES:

•BRAND-NEW GAME MODE – Go alone or join your friends and beat Bozak’s game with the highest score. Thanks to the newly introduced leaderboards, you can now compete with others to become the very best Dying Light player in the world.

Dying Light has only been out for a couple weeks now, but today already marks the release of the first downloadable content drop included as part of the zombie survival game’s $19.99 Season Pass. Well that sure didn’t take long.

The debut Season Pass DLC, titled Cuisine & Cargo, goes live today on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, offering players a hardcore challenge in two additional missions. As hinted at by the title, the missions include investigations leading to a restaurant (top screenshot) and railroad loading bay (screenshot directly below).

In addition to “other free initiatives which are already in the works and will be announced very soon,” two more DLC add-on packs are planned for Season Pass owners, including the Ultimate Survivor Bundle in March, and The Bozak Horde in May.

The Dying Light Season Pass contains:

•Cuisine & Cargo (February 10th) – Available exclusively as a part of the Season Pass offer, these two hardcore missions let players investigate buildings sealed off in the very first days of the outbreak. Explore the ominous corridors of once the most famous restaurant in Harran, and employ both stealth and combat to ransack a zombie-filled loading bay at the abandoned railroad yard.

•Ultimate Survivor Bundle (March) – Players will receive seven unique in-game items that will bring fighting zombies to a whole new level. Grab three special outfits and four blueprints for over-the-top weapons to make your adventure in the quarantine zone even more fun.

•The Bozak Horde (May) – The final Season Pass drop will deliver a new map and gameplay, playable in single-player and co-op. Go inside the Harran Stadium and test your combat know-how against relentless hordes of the Infected. Fight increasingly stronger enemy waves as you oppose a mysterious psychopath called Bozak.

In an obvious jab at today’s launch of Evolve, Techland also has put out a new video showcasing the 4v1 asymmetric multiplayer action found in Dying Light‘s Be the Zombie mode. Even if you don’t care about Be the Zombie mode, you’ll still want to tune in to get a code which can be redeemed at Dockets.DyingLightGame.com for a free in-game weapon.
