The complete roster of all-star tennis players to be featured in Top Spin 4 has been released, and at 25 athletes large it is the deepest player roster yet in 2K Sports’ simulation tennis series, headlined by joint cover stars Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams and Andre Agassi. Here’s the list:

That’s a long list, but there are some glaring omissions. No Maria Sharapova? No Venus Williams? No Kim Clijsters? No Juan Martín del Potro? No Gael Monfils? No John Isner? Really!? And who the hell are Bernard Tomic and Eugenie Bouchard? I follow tennis fairly closely, and I’ve never seen or heard of either of them.

Oh well, it’s still an excellent roster with a good mix of modern greats and all-time legends of the sport. 2K Sports’ ‘Signature Style’ system promises to render each player with the utmost realism, too, from their faces to their unique swing styles to their behavioral AI to their celebrations.
