Apparently the uDraw tablet, released exclusively as a Nintendo Wii product this past holiday season, has been such a tremendous success (1.7 million units shipped since November!) that THQ has been compelled to bring the World of uDraw to life on the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Both HD consoles will get a new-and-improved uDraw GameTablet this November, sporting such features as “high-definition art creation and gameplay; a stylus with greater sensitivity for more detailed results; motion features; longer drawing time; plus direct touch-screen control that incorporates pinch-and-stretch and rotation features.” Not only that, the peripheral that turns your favorite gaming console into an art studio will come bundled with an updated version of the uDraw Studio software newly subtitled ‘Instant Artist’.

Before the end of the year, THQ also intends to release new standalone games across the three uDraw platforms, including Pictionary: Ultimate Edition for PS3 and Xbox 360 and The Penguins of Madagascar for Wii, with additional titles to be announced later this year and into 2012.
