Tales of Symphonia Chronicles Coming to PS3 Next Year

If you thought the upcoming August launch of Tales of Xillia was going to be the PS3’s Tales sendoff before the start of the next console generation, think again.

In early 2014, Namco Bandai will localize Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (working title) for release across the Americas exclusively on PS3, bringing Lloyd Irving’s epic journey to a new audience of JRPG fans beyond the Nintendo console family. Well okay, Japan already had the PS2 port of Symphonia, but for everyone else this will be the first chance to experience the game on a PlayStation console in English.

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is a two-games-in-one compilation of GameCube classic Tales of Symphonia and its Wii sequel, Dawn of the New World. Both games will sport enhanced HD graphics and bonus content of some kind.
