Team iLuminate’s Nerdgasmic Fighting Game Reenactment

I don’t watch much America’s Got Talent, so forgive my tardiness on this one. But in between some U.S. Open tennis and Hell’s Kitchen I flipped by last night’s re-air of last week’s semifinals show and caught Team iLuminate’s stage reenactment of a fighting video game. If you missed it before as I did, watch it right now. It’s spectacular on its own, but it’s especially thrilling for us gamers.

Going by the judge and crowd reaction, Team iLuminate, a Lite-Brite powered (OK, maybe the technology is a little more advanced than that) dance crew, seems to be the frontrunner to win the competition and a show in Vegas, and from this latest performance I can see why. One of the dancer’s suits only half works, so that sullies the performance somewhat. But other than that, Team iLuminate puts on one hell of a show. I can’t wait to see what they do next!
