November 19th. Mark that date on your calendars right now, Xbox 360 owners. That’s the date Microsoft’s New Xbox Experience Xbox 360 system update will take effect. If you’ve been living under a rock since E3, the New Xbox Experience is a massive system patch that will completely transform the Xbox 360 interface and introduce new features such as customizable Avatars, Netflix integration, Xbox Live Party functionality for group chatting with up to seven friends, and more, all of which you can get a taste of in these new screenshots:
Gearing up for the New Xbox Experience launch, Microsoft has also announced a new series of Xbox 360 holiday bundles. For $200 you can get an Xbox 360 Arcade system paired with a copy of Sega Superstars Tennis and five XBLA titles. Then with the Xbox 360 core and elite SKUs, priced at $300 and $400 respectively, will come copies of both LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and Kung Fu Panda at no additional cost. Pretty pathetic game offerings for all three bundles, but free games are free games, can’t complain too much.
