The Elder Scrolls Online Beta Recruitment Begins

ElderScrollsOnline

Tamriel is at war and the alliances of Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and Ebonheart Pact are looking for new recruits to consider taking into an epic online battle ready to rage later this year.

Of course, that’s just a fancy way of reporting that Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Online Studios have opened the initial beta sign-up process for upcoming PC/Mac MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online.

Hit up the game’s website at signup.elderscrollsonline.com and fill out the registration form. (Heavy traffic is causing some problems so you may not get through the first time.) If you’re lucky, you’ll be among the first brave adventurers to experience the world’s first online Elder Scrolls game and provide feedback that will help shape the game’s continued development.

When does the first playtest begin? Only BethSoft and ZeniMax have an idea at this point as beta dates have not yet been confirmed. This new trailer was released as a celebratory gesture though. It’s nearly six minutes long (but sadly shows no actual gameplay).
