The Goblin Menace DLC expansion pack to Trine 2 is coming to Steam this fall, developer Frozenbyte announced today at Gamescom.

The added content, which will include a new campaign of six levels, new skills, even more gorgeously polished visuals and, of course, lots of goblins and other monsters to slay, will also be included as part of the Wii U Director’s Cut scheduled to be a launch title this holiday.

Pricing as well as release plans for Trine 2‘s console versions are details that are still being worked out.

“Trine 2: Goblin Menace is an expansion that we wanted to cultivate with a lot of time, effort and love,” said Lauri Hyv√§rinen, Frozenbyte CEO, and continued: “We feel this expansion is our best work to date. If you have a chance, come visit us at gamescom to see for yourself!”
