The House of the Dead 3 and 4 Return in HD Exclusively for PSN

Shambling in the footsteps of House of the Dead: Overkill’s Extended Cut release on PS3 this past Halloween, Sega is going back to its light gun classics for PlayStation Move zombie mayhem in 2012.

Horror arcade shooters The House of the Dead 3 (seen in the accompanying trailer and screenshots) and The House of the Dead 4 are coming exclusively to PS3 via PSN starting early this year, not as a combo pack like the Wii’s House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return but as individual digital downloads.

The House of the Dead 3 will kick off the retro zombie blasting on February 7th and the rare fourth installment will follow in the springtime (it’s never been released on a home console so this really is a big deal for fans). You can expect remastered HD graphics, full Move support, co-op play, trophies, and B horror movie thrills aplenty from both titles.
