The Intergalactic Trashman Blasts Off to Kickstarter Galaxy

Remember Kepler, the cute, two-toothed space hero starring in indie PC/Mac/Linux game The Intergalactic Trashman? Well his creators, the four person crew at GloveCat Studio, are turning to Kickstarter to help finish their 2D platforming, sandbox space exploring labor of love.

Pulling from a broad range of influences which include games like Megaman, Super Mario Bros., Metal Slug, Rayman Origins/Legends, Tyrian, and Raptor, The Intergalactic Trashman is currently sitting at around 30% completion in its development. GloveCat has set a funding goal of $35,000 in order to build upon the established foundation of art and code with improvements to core game mechanics, the story and mission system, and level design.

Right now the game is 15% funded with 24 days in the crowdfunding campaign still to go, so it could definitely use your consideration as a potential backer. A Steam Greenlight page has also been launched if you would like to give it a thumbs-up vote.
