Square Enix’s original new RPG IP The Last Remnant, which recently launched on Xbox 360, is now in the prep stages for a PC launch in Spring 2009 (still no date for the PS3 version). And well… that’s about all there is to say for the time being. The PC version is said to contain additional features not in the 360 version, but Square Enix hasn’t said what those features are. I don’t much care about new features to be honest though, I just hope the game runs a heck of a lot better. I’m early on in the 360 version and I love the style and ambition of the large-scale turn-based battles, but thus far the game is crippled by some serious technical flaws. Maybe with the extra dev time Square Enix can get the kinks ironed out.
