The Making of Heavenly Sword Part 4: The Sound of Combat

This week’s fourth installment in the “Making of Heavenly Sword” series focuses on the creation of game’s incredible sound effects. It’s always fun to watch recording sessions to see what objects get banged around and/or mangled to provide the perfect sound effects, which usually involves the obliteration of various fruits and vegetables. From the look (and sound) of it, plenty of celery and broccoli was torn apart to create especially crunchy bone-breaking sounds, though apparently smashing watermelons is overrated…
