The Terrifying Enemies of Dark Souls

Screw all the zombie shooters and gore-fests, and don’t bother going to some cheesy haunted house. Like Demon’s Souls before it, you won’t find a more terrifying experience this Halloween than Dark Souls. The dark, brooding atmosphere. The cramped dungeon corridors and narrow walkways high above the ground. The deadly traps and pitfalls. The enemies lurking around every corner ready to ambush. And, of course, the massive and often horrifying bosses, many capable of killing you with a single strike the first time you face them.

We were aiming to have our full Dark Souls review in for you to read today, but over 40 hours in I’ve still yet to complete my first adventure and the end still appears to be a good ways off. So I’ll keep plugging away, dying because I love it so, so much. Instead, this new trailer highlighting the game’s many enemies will have to suffice. It certainly scares the bejesus out of me!
