There are eight episodes total, so with four remaining shows, they’re perfectly set up to knock off one contestant in shows 5, 6 and 7, leaving them with the usual three finalists for the finale. Looks like next week has loads of infighting.

It was nice to finally see each contestant trying to give their best attempt instead of worrying about whether or not someone they don’t like talks too fast. The challenges were very interesting and the fight sequence after effects were a nice touch.

Your potato sack description of Ninja is spot on and I’m glad to finally see him go. While I appreciate J-Tight’s enthusiasm for gaming I can’t say that I ever felt he was portrayed as someone other than an enthusiastic gamer. There are certainly other contestants who appear to have a head for a business processes as well as a love of gaming and I’m curious to see just how much (if any) of that will continue to show up in future episodes.

Up until Ninja had to stop and catch his breath I wasn’t sure who the judges were going to pick. I was a bit surprised that J-Tight was eliminated after such an abysmal showing by Ninja. I think the best line of the episode was Brent commenting that he was glad Ninja’s backstory made sense to himself because Ninja was not effectively conveying it to anyone else. I hope that the double eliminations don’t continue as it would seem that by doing so the judges and producers are potentially making the season shorter.

Overall the season is shaping up to be a fun ride (even if there has been a little too much catty, ignorant hating going on during the first few episodes).
