In the latest episode of Telltale’s ‘Playing Dead’ web series, developers working on the upcoming 400 Days DLC for The Walking Dead: Season One share more details about how the new episode relates to the first season and bridges into the second season.
The basics are as follows: 400 Days will consist of five inter-mingling short stories spanning the first 400 days of the outbreak, each short story to follow a different playable character. While the episode won’t provide a direct continuation of Lee and Clementine’s story, players will recognize the familiar world. Choices made during Season One will also affect the events of 400 Days, and choices made during 400 Days will have some impact on Season Two.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days doesn’t have a specific launch date just yet, but it is expected to release in early July on Xbox 360, PS3, PC/Mac and iOS for the standard single-episode price of $4.99. A PlayStation Vita version of The Walking Dead: Season One packaged with 400 Days is also on the way this summer.
