Alongside the release of the first gameplay trailer (see bottom of page), CD Projekt RED has opened registration for the closed beta test of The Witcher Battle Arena, the free-to-play but not pay-to-win mobile MOBA set in The Witcher universe.

In terms of content, the beta will offer access to 8 playable heroes, The Arena and Korath Desert maps, the Conquest mode, and the game’s RPG development elements.

While the game is also planned for release later this year on iOS and Windows Phone platforms, the closed beta is currently limited to Android phones and tablets “because the wide range of hardware available for that platform means CD Projekt RED and Fuero Games will gain the maximum benefit from bringing in a large and diverse pool of testers.” To register, visit www.thewitcherbattlearena.com/beta.
