September 16th. Write that date down or log it into your memory bank. That’s the date The Witcher: Enhanced Edition ships out to retailers across North America (it launches globally on the 19th), CD Projekt announced this week. If you already own the original release from last year, don’t worry, you’ll be able to download all of the enhanced content completely free of charge beginning September 19th as long as you’ve registered your copy. Me? Even though I could get the free DLC version, I couldn’t resist the temptation of all the bonus goodies that come with the boxed version (soundtracks, short story, guide, etc.), so I went ahead and put my order in this morning. $40 for all the extras is too good a deal to pass up. Barring any delays, I’m supposed to have it late next week, and once it arrives I’ll post a full un-boxing for you to check out.
Starting September 16 (or 19), Your Life Will be Improved, Elevated, Augmented, Enriched… Enhanced, Even! [The Witcher Official Website]
Time to reinstall … can’t wait for next Friday.
