E3 2014: This Indie 2D Platformer Has Serious Juju

Flying Wild Hog’s next game, making its debut this week at E3 2014, couldn’t be any more different from the studio’s previous two titles, switching things up completely from the violent, vulgar sword and gunplay of Shadow Warrior and the cyberpunk first-person shooting of Hard Reset to the family-friendly anthropomorphic 2D platforming of Juju. This developer’s got range, that’s for damn sure.

Juju is a cooperative platformer about the quest of best buds Juju the shaman panda and Peyo the lizard to save Juju’s kidnapped father, Jumbee, and the world from an ancient spirit they accidentally released. Like any good platforming romp, they will battle bosses and collect lots of shiny things on their journey.

Look out for Juju later this year on PC and currently unspecified console platforms.
