This is How That Amazing The Last of Us Debut Trailer Was Made

As the Uncharted series has proven time and time again, the developers and animators at Naughty Dog are the masters of cinematic motion capture. That’s not going to change in Naughty Dog’s next game and brand new IP, The Last of Us. The PS3 exclusive made its world premiere during the Spike VGAs in December, stealing the show with a spectacular unveil trailer. Now you can see how that trailer was made in this behind the scenes video showing the actors and animators hard at work on the mo-cap stage. Fantastic stuff!

P.S. For the last time, Ellie is not played by Ellen Page — although you still may recognize the actress Naughty Dog did cast for the role.

P.P.S. Game Informer has released the exclusive first three gameplay screenshots from The Last of Us. The March issue will contain over 20 in-game shots, so don’t miss it.
