THQ to Recruit New Talent at Austin Game Developers Conference

During next week’s Game Developers Conference at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas, THQ will be “looking to turn passion into pay” by hosting on-site job recruiting in search of fresh new talent spanning all areas of game design and publishing, including programmers, artists, producers, designers, sales, marketing, finance and accounting executives.

Recruiters from THQ’s internal studios like Relic, Rainbow Studios, Vigil Games, Kaos and Paradigm will be on hand to meet with applicants looking to break into the industry or take the next step in their careers on Thursday, September 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, September 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. THQ recruiter Michael Nichols will also be a guest panelist on the “What Employers Are Looking For Now” panel scheduled for September 7 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Check THQ’s online career center for a list of the current job openings.
