This afternoon I was pleasantly surprised by an early review copy of Namco Bandai’s Time Crisis 4, officially due to ship out to retailers this coming Tuesday, November 20th. Fired it up for a couple hours so far and it’s definitely a blast to play and looks amazing. Setting up the sensors and everything is a snap (though the USB cable is kinda short for my setup, so I have a wire stretching across the room right now until I figure out a better configuration), and the new Guncon 3 controller, despite some earlier concern about the dual-handed design, works exceptionally well and is comfortable to hold. I’ll report back with a review later this week after I’ve had a chance to thoroughly play through all the different modes and mini-games it’s got. For now, feel free to browse through these unpacking photos I snapped of the box and contents.
