From Ludum Dare 28 game jam standout to a fully fleshed out production published by Devolver Digital, Acid Nerve’s 16-bit Dark Souls meets Shadow of the Colossus action-adventure game is oh so close to completion.
Titan Souls will be out on April 14th for PC/Mac, PS4, and Vita, and starting today PC users can try out a new demo version that offers “a scene-for-scene remake of the original prototype infused with the visual, audio, and gameplay enhancements the game underwent on it’s way to the full release.”
Additionally, PC/Mac pre-order offers have opened on GOG.com and Steam, including a $14.99 standard edition, and a $19.99 special edition containing a digital art book, the full game soundtrack, a world map, and desktop wallpapers. A 10% off early adopter discount applies to both versions.
Peep the video embedded up top for a look at how Titan Souls has evolved from its game jam prototype back in 2013 to its modern 2015 final release.
I sucked at the game during PAX South, but it is one I’m looking forward to playing on the PS4 and Vita.
