Titanfall, the PC and Xbox console (that’s both Xbox One and Xbox 360) exclusive first-person shooter from EA and Respawn Entertainment, has been given an official launch date today. On March 11, 2014, gamers will join the war between the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation and the Militia, jet-packing and wall running through huge, varied maps in epic sci-fi multiplayer battles centered around 24-foot mechs known as titans.
Gamers with piles of cash just sitting around waiting to be spent can also now pre-order the Titanfall Collector’s Edition, a whopping $250 package containing an 18” hand-crafted Atlas titan statue with diorama and battery-powered LED lighting, a 190-page art book, and a full-size poster schematic of the Atlas titan.
Two new videos are out today as well. There’s a gameplay trailer set in the map Angel City, and a clip showing gamer reactions from the “First to Fall” World Tour which spanned global events like Gamescom, PAX Prime, Tokyo Game Show, and the Eurogamer Expo.
