Two Tribes’ cute, colorful puzzle platformer Toki Tori 2 sadly won’t be making this Sunday’s huge Wii U launch, but the good news is that it’ll be tagging along soon after and will treat gamers to a fun and fresh experience on Nintendo’s new console before Santa begins dropping down chimneys.
Today it has been confirmed that the Wii U version of Toki Tori 2 will launch via the Nintendo eShop on December 20th. No word yet on pricing.
PC/Mac gamers wondering what’s up with the Steam release…well, unfortunately there’s bad news on that front. The Steam version won’t be making it out this year. Two Tribes has had to focus all its efforts to finish off the Wii U version, and as a result the PC/Mac version was pushed to the back burner. However, once the Wii U version drops the team will take a short holiday breather before resuming development on the Steam version.
