Tony Parker Named NBA Live 09 Cover Athlete

As if San Antonio Spurs star point guard Tony Parker wasn’t the envy of most men already — what with him making millions of dollars playing a sport on one of the best teams of the past decade and, you know, the fact that he goes to bed every night with one Eva Longoria — now he’s gone ahead and added one more feather to his cap, landing the gig of cover athlete and spokesperson for EA Sports’ NBA Live 09. Seriously, who wouldn’t want to be in this guy’s shoes right now? Of course, he couldn’t lead his team to another NBA title this year and didn’t get on the cover of NBA 2K9 (the far better bball series, IMO), so I guess all isn’t perfect in the world for the Frenchman.

NBA Live 09 is due out for Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, PSP and Wii on October 7th in North America and October 14th for the rest of the world. Hit the jump for the Tony Parker cover athlete reveal trailer and the first batch of screenshots.
