Looky here. A new tri-Ace game, and it’s not being published by Square Enix!

Resonance of Fate is the latest RPG project from the Japanese dev studio most known for its Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile franchises. It’s in development for PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be released in North America by Sega in spring 2010.

Not much has been announced about the game yet, but here’s the brief description excerpt from the press release:

Resonance of Fate redefines the RPG genre with a unique storyline, highly stylized graphics, and an emphasis on realistic gunplay and engrossing action. Players will be immersed in a gritty, highly mechanized world unlike any other. With Hollywood-style action sequences, customizable weapons, and memorable characters, Resonance of Fate takes players far beyond the boundaries of the typical RPG.

Sega also sent over these seven screenshots. Take a peek.
