Trine 2: Director’s Cut Makes Wii U eShop Launch Lineup

Alongside today’s North American Nintendo Wii U launch, Frozenbyte has announced that the Director’s Cut edition of side-scrolling action platform puzzle game Trine 2 is currently available to download from the eShop digital storefront. It is also expected to make the European Wii U launch on November 30th.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut is priced at $19.99 and comes in at slightly under 2GB in file size, so even Wii U Basic owners can get in on this one without hogging away too much precious memory space.

This Wii U version comes with GamePad support, the Goblin Menace expansion pack and an exclusive Dwarven Caverns level. An exclusive Magic Mayhem multiplayer party mode is also in the works, but unfortunately didn’t make it into the game in time for launch.
