Ubisoft’s battlefield melee combat game For Honor is set to kick off its open beta beginning February 9th and running to February 12th. Players will be able to participate on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
During the open beta, players will have access to four of the game’s five modes–Brawl, Dominion, Duel, and Elimination–and nine of the twelve playable characters that will be available at launch. The full game will also feature a single player campaign.
Carrying over from the closed beta test, the War of the Factions cross-platform metagame will continue as players fight to raise their chosen faction–Knights, Samurai, or Vikings–to the top of the leaderboard. The victorious faction at the end of the war will earn bonus rewards when the full game launches.
Speaking of which, For Honor is right on schedule to ship on February 14th. Sharpen your blades, and prepare for battle.
