Uncovering the New Features of Metro Redux

Metro Redux may initially seem like it’s going to be just another remastered re-release cash grab, but watching this new trailer will give you a greater appreciation for how much work is going into updating Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light from last generation to the new age of high-end PC and console gaming. 4A Games has revamped the game engine, improved AI and weapon handling, updated the animations so that enemies react more realistically when shot, reworked level transitions so that they seamlessly stitch together, and added new Spartan and Survival difficulty modes alongside returning Ranger mode. Plus, all previously released Last Light DLC comes included. No season pass BS.

We’re only weeks away from Metro Redux‘s launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Watch for it in stores and on the usual digital download channels come August 26th!
