Beginning tomorrow, iGames LAN gaming centers, in partnership with Sega, will be hosting launch tournaments in celebration of next week’s release of Universe at War: Earth Assault. The tournaments will be taking place at 30-50 iGames locations across the country (check the iGames website for specifics), so if you’ve got one nearby you should definitely drop by Saturday and/or Sunday to join in on the fun. If your town doesn’t have an iGames center, have no fear. Sega and Petroglyph have their online Play & Win promotion coming up next weekend too.
Also, in one last media update prior to the game’s launch, Sega has passed along three Universe at War videos to send us into the weekend with. First up is a new gameplay trailer, followed up by a video recap of a community day event Petroglyph held this summer, then closing with a video interview with Petroglyph President and programmer, Mike Legg. Enjoy!

Unfortunately, we won’t be one of the participating centers (http://www.lansharx.com). We still haven’t gotten the game installed yet, but PC Gamer gave it 85%, so we’re looking for it to get as much play as LOTR: BFME 2 and C&C 3.
