VGB Week in Review: 7/20/09 – 7/26/09

Boy did I have an eventful weekend! I went down to visit my niece and nephew and help my mom babysit so my brother and his wife could get out of the house by themselves for a couple nights. But of course it couldn’t be a simple babysitting visit. Oh no, nothing can ever be easy!

The first night there the faucet on the kitchen sink exploded like a geyser for absolutely no reason and the whole kitchen just about flooded as we tried to hold towels over the spraying water and search for the cut-off valve at the same time. Then of course the kids just thought it was great fun trying to splash in the water, oblivious to the real chaos that was going on — that’s what’s great about being a kid! Fortunately, the remainder of the weekend went smoothly and it was great spending time with the fam.

In comparison, this week’s postings here at VGB weren’t quite as eventful, but it was Comic-Con week and I tried to get as much coverage up on the show before I left on babysitting duty. Here’s what went up over the past seven days:
