It was a busy post-Labor Day week, both on the site and off. Began easing back into review mode in anticipation of what’s going to be a crazy next few months, rendering my final verdicts on Crystal Defenders, RFG – Demons of the Badlands, and ZEN Pinball and posting my thoughts on the new LittleBigPlanet – Game of the Year Edition re-release. Outside of VGB, the new NFL season kicked off, which is always a big event for me as a football nut — and my Steelers got off to a great defense of their Super Bowl title, taking down the Titans in a dramatic overtime thriller (though the “Madden Curse” did a number on Troy Polamalu). And last but certainly not least, this week also came with the anniversary of 9-11. I hope everyone took at least a little time out to reflect on that horrifying day and remember those who perished in the attack and the many heroes who rose up in the face of such terror.
