VGBlogger Enters Content Partnership with Machinima.com

If you are a regular reader here, you’ve probably noticed a few changes to the site over the past couple of days. Well, big news!

This week we have officially entered into a content syndication partnership with Machinima.com, the leading source of gaming focused video content on YouTube. Starting now, you can watch all of Machinima’s high quality original programming — typically 5-10 new videos every day — right here on VGBlogger. No need to change the dial away from your favoritest gaming blog in the whole wide world! It is, isn’t it?

Access to Machinima’s video content couldn’t be easier. Just look over to the right sidebar to find our newly embedded Machinima video player, and start watching. Underneath the player is a drop down list with different video categories to choose from (Featured, Trailers, Comedy, Gameplay, etc.), and once you’ve made a selection you can scroll through the list of available videos. Then click to play, and you’re good to go.

Along with the Machinima player, we’ve also taken this opportunity to clean up site navigation a little more. Most notably, we have installed a horizontal menu going across the top of the page, which should hopefully provide quicker, easier access to different sections of the site. A longer list of most recent comments has also been added to the right sidebar in place of our old menus, so keep an eye on that and don’t be shy to join in on active conversations — we always love to hear from our readers!

As always, with any site format change there is potential for display bugs or other problems, so if you notice anything out of the ordinary or have any general feedback regarding the site’s layout and other features you’d like us to consider adding, please let us know in the comments.
