E3 2007: Konami Reveals Hellboy Voice Cast

Following up on earlier news (and nope, nothing yet about the possibility of a Metal Gear Solid 4 for the 360) Konami today revealed the full voice cast for Hellboy: The Science of Evil (working title), its upcoming video game adaptation coming to the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3 and PSP this fall. In addition to Ron Perlman, who will reprise his role as Hellboy, Selma Blair and Doug Jones are joining the voice cast as Liz Sherman and Abe Sapien, respectively.

“With voice acting from Ron Perlman, Selma Blair and Doug Jones, and creative guidance from director Guillermo del Toro and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola, Hellboy The Science of Evil is shaping up to be one of the most faithful video game adaptations of an entertainment property of all-time,” said Brian Christian, Vice President of Product Development at Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. “Drawing from the mythology of both the comic books and the motion picture, we are able to tell an original story featuring all the characters, settings and visceral gameplay that fans could ever ask for in a Hellboy game.”

Developed by VGB staff fave Krome Studios, Hellboy: The Science of Evil is an action game that allows players to utilize the character’s Right Hand of Doom to lay the smack down on Nazi and supernatural enemies alike Both the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 versions of the game will feature co-op online play as well as a number of characters from the Hellboy universe, each with their own unique fighting style.

We’ll have more on Hellboy as the game nears completion.
