Sega has served up the first dev diary for Virtua Tennis 2009, coming to PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 next month. A lot of the supposed “new” content discussed in this installment really doesn’t appear all that new, but that’s generally what you get with sports games: subtle evolutions that are hard to distinguish until you’re behind the controller. One cool new thing the diary does reveal, however, is that all the mini-games will be playable online this time around. Oh, and there’s a new tennis pool mini-game…flippin’ sweet!
