Watch Dogs Runs Wild May 27th (On Every Platform But Wii U)

After pretty much going dark on the game since announcing its delay from the PS4 and Xbox One console launches back in October, Ubisoft today reveals a new ship date for Watch Dogs, sticking to its Spring 2014 target by confirming a May 27th launch.

That date will cover PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, but not the Wii U. Ubisoft will only say that the Wii U version will be released “at a later date,” which could be another sign that the Nintendo version will be stuck in the doghouse for good, or perhaps this is just a smart business decision to avoid shipping the game during the same week as Mario Kart 8. Only time will tell.

Have you lost all anticipatory hype for Watch Dogs at this point? Maybe this new story trailer will help you regain some of the lost momentum.
