WB Jots Down US Ship Date for Scribblenauts

5th Cell’s latest brainchild, Scribblenauts, has received a US ship date from publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today. The “emergent” DS puzzle game from the developers behind Drawn to Life and Lock’s Quest will launch stateside on September 15th, ten days ahead of the game’s previously confirmed September 25th UK ship date.

Scribblenauts has been riding a wave of hype since wowing show-goers at E3, so by now I’m sure you’ve heard all about it. But in case you haven’t, Scribblenauts is an innovative little puzzle game that allows players to think up virtually any word, write it down with the stylus and have the penned item come to life in the game. Sounds almost too good to be true, I know, but early reports from those who have been able to play around with it say the game works as advertised and is nearly impossible to stump.

I am super-eager to get my hands on this game, and you should be too. September 15th is the date, remember it!
