I played FFXII, which is awesome times 12; ran through a couple of quests in WoW; and I went old school with some friends and played Operation and Monopoly. You read right – board games!

Hey, I also played Marvel: Ultimate Alliance this weekend! What a great game. Unfortunately, I didn’t play the other two titles in the series but I think I didn’t miss much considering what this title offers. I couldn’t believe the beautiful amount of playable characters (with many more to unlock) and the easy-to-use battle system that’s not only great for pick up and play, but has quite a bit of variation and depth for veteran gamers. I’m in love, needless to say.

Much of my weekend was consumed by FFXII, which you already know I love if you’ve read in the forums. Also spent some time playing EQII, as that’s usually a nightly routine for me, in addition to Destroy All Humans 2 (which is a nice upgrade over the first game, though still a lot of the same thing), The Ship, Spectral Souls and a bit of Tiger Woods 07 on the PSP. Still trying to get Mage Knight Apocalypse to work, but the game is so damn buggy it’s such a damn pain to get up and running. Been able to log a few hours of it, but spent just as much time watching frozen load screens.
