World in Conflict Demo Ready for Friday Assault

Amidst the thick of the Leipzig Games Convention and the Penny Arcade Expo events, Sierra will be releasing a public playable demo of World in Conflict this Friday, August 24th. The free PC demo will provide looks at both single-player and multiplayer content, including a US Airbase tutorial, Single-Player Mission 3: “The Battle of Pine Valley,” Skirmish Mode and online multiplayer for up to 16 players on the “Seaside” map (if you’ve pre-ordered WiC you’ll also get an exclusive early peek at the “Ruins” map). World in Conflict has already gone gold and is ready to ship on September 18th. Be sure to check out the awesome new trailer posted early this morning if you haven’t already.
