Unfortunately I wasn’t able to test out the offline multiplayer too much, which is why I didn’t mention it in the review. But from the little bit I was able to try it worked as it should. The second player can just hit start and enter the game, even create a new character right on the spot if needed.<\/p>\n
I think there are limitations though. Like you can’t trade items between players unless you’re playing online. And you can only play two-player on one console, though you can have two local players on one console hook up with two others online to fill out the party. Unfortunately I hear this functionality is broken in the PS3 version right now. But a patch is supposed to be coming to fix that and the local trading.<\/p>\n
