One of the highlights of Microsoft’s press briefing was Activision’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare <\/strong>which thrusts the hugely popular military-themed FPS into the current day while showing off Infinity Ward’s incredible attention to detail. During a brief (too brief!) single player demo, a multiplayer beta was announced at the event and today, Activision and Infinity Ward have scheduled the beta for August.
