In honor of the loyal players that have made Final Fantasy XI<\/em> such a huge success over the years since it launched back in 2003, Square Enix has announced plans for Final Fantasy XI Fan Festival 2007, which will take place from November 15-17 at the Hilton Hotel in Anaheim, California.<\/p>\n

Pre-registration for the event is $85 per person, and for that admission price you get full access to the festival for all three days, a \u201cGobbiebag\u201d filled with goodies and an exclusive in-game item. Attendance is limited to 1500 people, and knowing Final Fantasy<\/em> fans those spots will probably fill up in a hurry, so you better act fast if you want to secure admission.<\/p>\n

As far as the activity list for the event goes, festival-goers will be able to participate in live quests and a variety of contests, and drop in on numerous panels sessions with members from the FFXI<\/em> dev team. But best of all, the festival will give attendees their first chance to play the fourth FFXI<\/em> expansion pack, Wings of the Goddess<\/em>, coming this holiday season to the PC, PS2 and Xbox 360.<\/p>\n
