I’m kinda surprised it’s taken this long to happen, but it’s great news to hear nonetheless that 2K Sports is bringing the acclaimed Top Spin<\/em> franchise to the Wii next spring. Top Spin Tennis<\/em>, in the works by PAM Development and 2K Shanghai, will bring the type of full-featured and realistic tennis experience to the Wii that I’ve so desperately been craving for.<\/p>\n

Unlike the overly simplified and painfully limited Wii Sports Tennis<\/em>, Top Spin<\/em> will make use of both the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in tandem so you can actually move your player by yourself and control the aim, spin and power of your shots. Content-wise, Top Spin Tennis<\/em> will be loaded. Singles, doubles, exhibition, tournaments, four difficulty settings, 10 international court venues, 12 real-life tennis stars, 10 fictional characters, a collection of party games and four-player support are all going into the package (a career mode better be in there somewhere too…).<\/p>\n
