Back when the Wii Zapper was unveiled<\/a> at this year’s E3, Nintendo mentioned that the new gun-shaped accessory unit for the Wii Remote and Nunchuk would feature some software packed in to accompany the device and demonstrate its uses. Confirming reports that began swirling early this morning, Nintendo has officially revealed that the Wii Zapper pack-in title is indeed Link’s Crossbow Training<\/em>, a new Zelda<\/em>-themed crossbow target practice game running on the Twilight Princess<\/em> engine (the above screenshot is from TP<\/em>, not LCT<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Not much has been announced about the game as of yet other than it’ll have you playing as Link through various tests shooting stationary and moving targets and fending off attacking enemies in order to “perfect his crossbow marksmanship,” though it’ll clearly be more of a casual-friendly game so don’t expect some epic Zelda<\/em> adventure. Nintendo has also confirmed that the Wii Zapper\/Link’s Crossbow Training<\/em> pack will be going on sale on November 19th for only $19.99.<\/p>\n
