As of today, WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008<\/em><\/a> Xbox 360 pre-orders placed at select North American retailers will net you a disc copy of the official game demo, among other undisclosed “retail exclusive gift-with-purchase promotions.” If you aren’t sure if you want to put money down yet and would rather wait a couple weeks to try out the demo, THQ will also be releasing it via the Xbox Live Marketplace on October 15th. No mention of a downloadable PS3 demo, but hopefully one lands on the PlayStation Store in the weeks ahead too.<\/p>\n

What are the contents of the demo you ask? According to the alert I received from THQ today, it will feature exhibition match play for one to two players, Rey Mysterio, Bobby Lashley, Undertaker and Randy Orton as the playable grapplers, and the RAW, SmackDown and ECW arenas to duke it out in.<\/p>\n
