I just finished watching The Road<\/em> last night for the first time, which is a beautifully bleak post-apocalyptic drama and one of the main theatrical influences behind the development of The Last of Us<\/em><\/a> (alongside Children of Men<\/em><\/a>, an even more amazing post-apocalyptic sci-fi flick), so I’m itching to play Naughty Dog’s latest cinematic marvel now more than ever. Too bad it ain’t coming our way until next year.<\/p>\n

Naughty Dog has at least been kind enough to release the complete gameplay demo that was previously only shown behind closed doors to select media members at E3 before getting a public showing at PAX last weekend. 15 minutes of sneaking through decrepit buildings, brick-upside-the-head brutality, cat-and-mouse action sequences, and Uncharted<\/em> style conveniently placed ladders will have to do for now.<\/p>\n
