Capcom’s decision to port Resident Evil 4<\/em> over to the Wii sure has paid off for the company’s bottom line, as the Wii version has now officially cracked the 1 million units shipped milestone and is on track to continued success throughout the holiday season. Normally I don’t care about reading or reporting shipping and sales stats, but it’s always nice to see games of RE4<\/em>‘s caliber do well and get into the hands of as many gamers as possible. The Halos<\/em> and GTAs<\/em> of the world get most of the sales and break all the records, but it’s games like RE4<\/em> that truly deserve to. Hopefully the upcoming Wii port of Okami<\/em> will have the same effect, I’m still saddened and disappointed by how overlooked that game has been outside of the hardcore community…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
