I don’t own an iPhone so I normally don’t pay much attention to the iPhone case market, but this new line of Sega-themed accessories from Tommo Mobile<\/a> almost<\/em> makes me want to buy an iPhone just so I can try them out.<\/p>\n

The standout products of the Sega Hardware Series are the iPhone 5\/5s cases which encapsulate Apple’s smartphone in the shells of vintage Sega systems like the Genesis, Game Gear, and Saturn. There’s even a case modeled after a Sega Genesis controller!<\/p>\n

Tommo’s not stopping at iPhone cases either. The lineup will also include Power Partner portable battery chargers in Genesis and Saturn models (with travel pouches and protective cases), as well as a Sega Genesis Replica Bluetooth 4.0 Speaker featuring a 3.5mm headphone jack, a built-in rechargeable battery, and support for NFC, AptX, and Multi-paring.<\/p>\n

In the U.S., the Sega Hardware Series iPhone 5\/5s cases are scheduled to release later this month and will sell for $24.99 each. (Those sound like great stocking stuffer ideas to me!) The cases will be followed by the battery chargers and Bluetooth speaker in December. The battery packs will sell for $69.99, and the speaker for $89.99. <\/p>\n

Releases in Japan and Asia are also planned for later this year, however the European roll-out won’t begin until spring 2014.<\/p>\n
